Long time no blog . . .Since we last updated the blog we've had both a celebration and a sorrow. We celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary with a getaway to a cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We sadly had to say goodby to our dear Toby. Although he had been showing his age of almost 13 years (96 Labrador years), he rapidly deteriorated in the first few weeks of September. We miss him greatly!
What's going on with the farmhouse renovation? The sills have been replaced in the living room, master bedroom, master bath, and extra bedroom. The floor joists are in as well in those rooms along with new electrical wiring in those rooms.
Heating and Air ductwork have gone in. The oldest section of the house where our living room and master bedroom will be never had heat or air.
Pete has insulated the floors and installed the floor decking.
We have the gas line to the house placed and the new heat/air conditioner delivered.
