11 Chicks to be exact...let's see there are 3 Black Australorps, 2 Silver Laced Wyandottes, 2 Red Stars, 2 Dominiques, and 2 not sure, we'll just have to see when they get bigger (?? maybe White Crested Black Polish).
Right now they are living in our laundry with a heat lamp until they get their feathers and it gets warmer . . . they range in age from 1 day to 1 week old . . .
On a different note, I ran my first 5K on March 30. For many of you this may be no big deal. But for a lifetime non runner (really non athletic) this was an accomplishment at age 55! I participated in a wellness challenge that trained from "Couch to 5K".
Not an Olympian, but I finished (4th in women 55-60).
