. . . and you've met Domino and the girls, alhough they are a bit bigger now . . .
Some of the "girls" - Dottie, Winnie, & Monique |
From our 5 hens we were getting 4-6 eggs per day in the summer and fall and with winter's darker days we're now getting about 0-2 eggs per day. The latter is really sufficient for Pete & I, but earlier in the year we were providing a lot of my coworkers with fresh eggs!
Now, onto some new introductions . . . . first the goats . . . they are the sweetest! They were born in May and we brought them home in early July. I'll introduce you first with their baby pictures (about a week old) and then their latest photo shoot!
First we have the Saanen twins . . . Lily & Daisy May . . .
Next our brother and sister . . . Jack & Jill . . .
and this is Willie . . . my lap goat (he sat on my lap each night to be brushed even when he weighed about 50 # !)
and the newest addition, my Christmas present, Jenny the mini donkey (5 months old) . . .
May 2014 be a year of wonderful family memories . . .
good times with friends . . . .
all your needs met . . . .
and full of contentment with life!
Happy New Year with Love,
Pete, Debby and the Menagerie
