Out with the Old, In with the New . . . Roof

Of course, the first week of July was the hottest on record here in Prosperity.  Yes, you're reading that right, our thermometer (in the shade) reads 112.  My car thermometer driving home from work read 117!!!

Nonetheless, the roofers got to work.  The following are pictures of the progress over 3 1/2 days.  They did a great job and we're very excited.  Now when you drive by, you might not wonder, why are they landscaping THAT?!?

The roof is complete except for trim.  The roofers are coming back the first week in August to do that.  In the meantime, Pete has started the siding.

And finally, the smartest one of the bunch . . . when it's 112 in the shade, STAY IN THE SHADE!!!  Duke
